Prenatal and Postnatal Group Sessions with Psychologist Stephanie at Vyne Health

Gold Coast Psychologist Stephanie Alexander, also knowas The Feel Good Psychologist, located within Vyne Health, is launching Prenatal and Postnatal Group Sessions - something we're so honoured to be able to offer our local Gold Coast and Vyne Community in Varsity Lakes.

We're excited to introduce two specialised mental health group programs designed to support women through the transformative stages of pregnancy and early motherhood.

Our Feel Good Prenatal Group and Feel Good Postnatal Group are crafted to provide safe, supportive, and empowering environments where women can connect, share, and grow together. These groups have a similar structure but will focus on the experiences of members during their prenatal and postnatal journey.

Prenatal Group Session - Gold Coast Psychology

Purpose:
Create a safe and inviting space for pregnant women at all stages of their journey. This 10-week course aims to build a sense of community and support among women experiencing similar phases of pregnancy, offering both emotional support and practical mental health tools.
Session Structure:
  • Duration: 90 minutes
  • Group Size: 5-7 members
Session Format:
  • Well-being Check-In: Each member shares their current state.
  • Psychoeducation: Weekly themes provide educational insights.
  • Practical Tools: Learn actionable tools to implement in daily life.
  • Q&A: Opportunity for questions to deepen understanding.
  • Facilitated Discussion: Collaborative exploration of experiences led by a psychologist.
Focus:
Each session is designed to deliver practical psychological tools while fostering relationships that could form the basis of a supportive mother’s group. The group recognises the unique emotional and physical changes during pregnancy, offering a space for collaborative support and connection.
